Indian Cricket Superstar and attacking opener Yashasvi Jaiswal was born on 28 December 2001 in Suriyawan, Bhadohi, Uttar Pradesh. He made his International Cricket debut in July 2023 against West Indies. In a debut test match, he scored Century. He made 400 in the U19 World Cup 2020 with an average of 133.33. Currently, In domestic, he plays for Mumbai and in IPL for Rajasthan Royals.

Yashasvi’s family background was not very good. His father is Bhupendra Jaiswal who used to run a Hardware store. His mother’s name is Kanchan Jaiswal, and she is a homemaker. At 10, he moved to Mumbai from Uttar Pradesh to play cricket. Also, his financial condition was not good enough to continue playing cricket. Yashasvi’s uncle in Mumbai got him a job in dairy. His uncle’s house was small so he could not keep him in his home but he somehow made such arrangements that he could live and work in the dairy.
Because of the hectic schedule of cricket and school, he used to get tired and sleep during job time. After some time the owner of the shop expelled him from the shop. Then he shifted to the tent with the groundsman of Azad Maidan. Some people say that he used to sell fruits and pani puri in the evening.
In 2013, when he was batting in the nets Jwala Singh spotted him as other batsmen were struggling on a tricky wicket while Yashasvi Jaiswal was playing tremendously. He lived in a tent for three years before Jwala Singh made his living arrangements better. He supported Jaiswal in bad times and motivated him to play competitive cricket. Jwala Singh became his legal guardian and obtained his power of attorney.

Jaiswal’s name was recorded in the “Limca Book of World Records” when he scored 319 not out and took 13 wickets in the Harris Shield Tournament. Yashasvi was selected in Mumbai U16 team and India U19 team. He got a Man of the Match award for a crucial knock in the U19 Aisa Cup 2018. Later, he met with his idol Sachin Tendulkar and got his signed bat. He was just 17 when scored a double century against Jharkhand in the Vijay Hazare Trophy and became the Youngest to do that. He was the leading run-scorer for India in U19 World Cup 2020 with a crucial hundred against Pakistan in the semi-final.
In 2020, Rajasthan Royals picked him in the auction. In 2021 he scored his maiden half-century against Chennai Super Kings and In 2023 his first century came against Mumbai Indians. For Rajasthan Royals, he was the highest run scorer in IPL 2023 scoring 625 runs in 14 matches.
Yashasvi Jaiswal was part of the Indian Cricket Team for the Asian Games 2022 held in Hangzhou, China. Indian team won the Gold Medal because of higher seeding as the final match didn’t happen against Afghanistan. In 2024 T20 Cricket World Cup will happen.
