Many players featured IPL 2023 final reached late England for WTC Final while others are already there practicing hard for the Final. India’s playing 11 will be a concern for Team Management. Virat Kohli and Ravichandran Ashwin reached England the previous week followed by Rohit Sharma along with Yashasvi Jaiswal who is the replacement for Rituraj Gaikwad because of his Wedding during that period. Australia led by Pat Cummins finished at the top WTC 2021-2023.

Border-Gavaskar Trophy held in February-March helped India to make win percent 58.8%. In comparison, Australia was on top with a win percentage of 66.67%. India as Team is back after 3 months and must be looking to win WTC Final 2023 for the first time. India did reach in final of the opening season of WTC but lost to New Zealand. India hasn’t won any ICC Tournament in the past 10 years.
ICC World Test Championship will start on 7 June at the Kennington Oval in London. Earlier it was said Kookaburra balls will be used but now rumors are that Dukes’ ball will come into play.

What will be India’s Playing 11 for the World Test Championship Final?
Rohit Sharma was the star performer for India on their 2021-2022 tour of England. His form will be crucial against the Australian Pace attack with Dukes’ balls as he didn’t have a good IPL season, so he must be looking to come back in form. Shubman Gill who had a magnificent IPL season, getting the orange cap with 800+ runs would be looking to get his stats better in England. He has performed well against Australia in Australia but needs improvement in England conditions.
Eyes will be on Cheteshwar Pujara too who has Impressive records in England. Ajinkya Rahane has been putting in consistently strong performances lately, but this time around the format and environment are very different from what you would expect to see at The Oval, where some experienced players will be competing for that accolade. The Oval will greatly benefit from Ravindra Jadeja’s all-around dominance. He will be important in the middle of the order because he is the left-hander.

Team India will once again have to decide whether to play Ashwin or not. Shardul Thakur ought to be selected ahead of India’s top wicket-taker if the Oval’s playing conditions favor pace more. Among the three main pacers, Shami will play a key role for the team.
Obviously, Virat Kholi will be an eyeball catcher because of his sublime form in IPL, He would be looking to continue his form to lead India to Victory.
